Creative Software becomes first fully corporate-sponsored Rotary Club in Sri Lanka

An initiative by local tech industry leader Creative Software to encourage its team’s growth and development

The Rotary Club of Colombo Tech City recently inducted 73 members from software industry pioneer Creative Software, making it the first fully corporate-sponsored Rotary Club in Sri Lanka.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Colombo Fort, 2020- 2021 Governor Ajith Weerasinghe presided over the online event with more than 100 Rotarians in participation. The speakers during the ceremony included District Governor Ajith Weerasinghe, Past District Governor Gowri Rajan and District Governor Elect Aruni Malalasekara.

A leader in Sri Lanka’s software industry, Creative Software works with clients across the world from a variety of industries including construction, healthcare, logistics, telecommunication, and e-commerce. By providing an opportunity for their workforce to take part in this corporate- sponsored Rotary Club, the company hopes to encourage the personal development and growth of their team members.

While serving a global client base, Creative Software aims to enable the young members of the tech industry be a part of a global network by initiating their own corporate- sponsored Rotary Club in Sri Lanka.
