New book on “Attract Potential & Grow Talent”

Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya, a wellknown Sri Lankan consultant, has authored a book titled, “Attract Potential & Grow Talent”.

He has written this book in a manner that serves as a handbook for practicing managers and Human Resources professionals, it was stated in a media release issued on the book.

In this book, Dr. Jayasuriya covers areas such as ‘Getting the house in order’, ‘How do I find who I want?’, ‘Strategy for interviewing & selecting’, ‘The essence of onboarding’, ‘Blocking out unethical interference’, ‘Identifying and growing talent’, ‘Competency Frameworks & Assessments’, ‘Building personality and attitude’, ‘Inculcating business ethics’, ‘Coaching your human potential’ and, ‘Taking ownership & responsibility’.

Dr. Jayasuriya has cited examples, experiences and anecdotes from his vast experience having worked as a Regional Resource for Sterling Winthrop, East Africa region and thereafter, at Smithkline Beecham, Southeast Asia & India (A Fortune 500 Company) now known as GSK.

The book provided more hands-on complete knowledge for the budding, medium, and senior-level HR / People Managers as to how the MNCs are handling their most difficult tasks, i.e., attracting, retaining, and sharpening talent in organisations.
