2) Go to old emails

Develop a separate file on acknowledgments and thank you notes you have got. When you are feeling down go to them and read them. This helps you to regain the lost sense of worth in you. It also helps you to re focus on the path that you have tred and done well. If you cannot find these notes go back to your school life and days you did sports. Look at the victories that you have had and how many times you have fallen but got up and went on to victory. This pull you up from where you are.

3) Listen to music

I am sure you have done this, but let me say this again. Music is fantastic leveler. Go back to the music that you like even if it’s not hip now. The good memories come back when you listen to them and this brings out the positive adrenaline in to your body. It wakes you up. It can also get your creative juices flowing and this will make you get inspired.

4) Stand in the sun

This is a technique that brings out the best in you. If you are feeling down and you get exploded to the sun don’t you feel good. Do this at office too if you feeling demotivated. Go to the balcony or the road and look up and stand in the sun. Come back in and have a glass of water and get back to work. You will feel better.

5) Wearing a mask a life style

As the country opens on the 1st of October, let’s make wearing a mask, keeping a social distance a way of life. Please understand that vaccination will not protect you. It will only make you less ill.

Next step

Let’s get back to the usual life as quickly as possible. Let support the kids to go back to school. It’s very important that we start our usual routines at the gym. Will Sri Lanka loose more life’s, yes we will but life must move on. We cannot be standing still.
