The Weeknd appointed Goodwill Ambassador for UN’s WFP

The Weeknd has been appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN’s World Food Programme. The Canadian artist will join a roster of international stars who will use their voices to advocate ending global hunger.

Meanwhile the Weeknd has a new album out soon. It will be a follow-up to ‘After Hours’ from 2020. The multi award-winning artist whose actual name is Abel Tesfaye is working on the videos for the upcoming album in the US. He has already released one track titled ‘Take My Breath Away’ which has been a global hit.
