Sam Fender secured first top 10 song

Sam Fender secured his first top 10 song on home soil with ‘Seventeen Going Under’. The song has had two runs on the UK singles chart. From July to October the song charted between Nos. 44 and 68. On its current run it began at No: 22and then jumped to No: 9 this week. The lyrics are very interesting, not the run of the mill stuff that is around today. ‘Seventeen Going Under’ is also the title track to 27 year old North Shields born Fender’s album which in October was No: 1 on the UK albums chart.
