Smith’s track goes viral

The teenage artist Lauren Spencer Smith has seen her career just take off after her first serious song ‘Fingers Crossed’ went viral on TikTok. The 17-year-old was convinced by fans and friends to release the song and self- released it on January 5. ‘Fingers Crossed’ debuted on the chart two weeks ago at 90 and this week vaulted to No: 4 to give the Vancouver Island, Canada resident artist her first UK top 10 song.
