‘Sangatana’ introduces fresh faces

Muhurath ceremony for ‘Sangatana’, a new film production by young director

Tharindu Bandara was held recently.

Coming under the genre of psychoanalytic experimental cinema, ‘Sangatana’ is produced for international audience and it will be made into three languages English, Sinhala and Tamil. With nearly 90 percent of the cast and crew are freshers, the film is produced by young producers Dhanushka Eranda and it s presented by D&T Phoenix Entertaainment (pvt) Ltd. The film is to star Isuru Lokuhettarachchi, Ama Wijesekara, Chamathka Lakmini Dhanushka Eranga, Manoja Ferdinando, Dhanushka Dias, Pahandhi Nethara, Sugath Janaka and Dhananjaya Lakshitha. Behind the screen, cinematograph is by Janith Gunasekara, editor Prabath Manjuala, colour grading by Ananda Bandara and assistant directors are Chamath Priyadeva and Sameera Madushan. Screenplay by Shashi Donpawulu, art director is Roshan Warnakulasuriya, make up by Randhika Sumanapala and costume designing is by Priyan Anura Sri.

Musical score of ‘Sangatana’ is to be made by Induwara Suriyabandara and the vocal rendition for the playback songs are by Amiliya Wijesuriya and Shyni Ferdinando.

Production manager of the film is Nipuna Suriyaarachchi.
