MoU to be signed between Ruhuna University and Northumbria University

The Cabinet ministers have given approval for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to be signed between Northumbria University of England and the University of Ruhuna.

The MoU is to be signed over strengthening the collaboration of educational activities between the two universities. The students of Ruhuna University would gain access to exchange expert knowledge and will obtain support for selected subjects.

Apart from that, a few qualified students of University of Ruhuna will also obtain pre-entry to engage in programmes set up by Northumbria University. The Cabinet proposal was made by Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
