Second UK top 10 hit

The Future scored his second career UK top 10 hit when his new single ‘ Wait For U’ debuted on the singles chart at No: 8 this week. It’s the second track to be lifted off the US rapper’s recently released tenth album ‘I Never Liked You’. The toxic romance has hip hop artist Drake featured and Tems singing in the background.

‘ Wait For U’ is the Future’s second UK top 10 hit following ‘Life Is Good’ from 2020 which peaked at No: 3. On that track too Drake was the featured artist. For Nigerian-born Tems ‘ Wait For U’ is her first appearance on the UK’s top 10 singles chart.
