Rajans gain slender lead over Nalandians

Dharmajara College Kandy after posting 170, on the back of opener Sachintha Dissanayake’s 70, managed to keep Nalandians at bay reducing them to four down for 94.

At the end of day one, Nalandians were having a deficit of 70. Dulara Bandulasena so far with two wickets, also thwarted Yasiru Samarakoon from a fifty in their traditional encounter at the Nalanda College grounds.
