India calls for 2022/2023 Ayush Scholarship applications by July 15

Those interested in pursuing higher studies in the fields of ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha and homoeopathy now have the opportunity to study in India free of charge.

The Indian government has called for applications under its Ayush Scholarship Scheme for undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral courses in the above fields for the academic year 20222023, an official from the Indian High Commission in Colombo said.

The scholarship awarding is done with the consultation of the Education Ministry here. Interested applicants are advised to apply by July 15. Details of the scholarship are available on the Higher Education Ministry’s website www.mohe.gov.lk.

These scholarships cover full tuition fees and a monthly sustenance allowance for the entire duration of the course. Accommodation allowance, healthcare facilities and an annual grant are also provided.
