All-round Vishan helps St.Peter’s crushing win

An all-round performance by Vishan Halambage helped St. Peter’s College to an easy seven wicket win over St. Joseph Vaz College in their U-19 school limited over cricket match played at Bambalapitiya yesterday.

After restricting visitor’s for 182 run, the home side reached the target in the 31st over with Vishan hitting an unbeaten 117. He also picked up 3 for 30.

St. Thomas’ Matara recorded an upset five run win on the Parabola System over St. Joseph’s College in their match played at Darley Road. The match was called off early due to bad weather.
