Beatrix Potter
is the writer and illustrator of many children’s stories, such as ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’, ‘The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck’ and ‘The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies’. The landscape of the from her books, she bought many lands in the area to protect them from development.
