Local Pepsi bottler rewards long-service employees

Varun Beverages Lanka Pvt. Ltd (VBLL), a subsidiary of Varun Beverages Ltd., which is the largest bottler of PepsiCo outside U.S., recently held an award ceremony to express their gratitude to employees who have served with the company for 25 years or more. The event was held at Taj Samudra Hotel for felicitation of such 36 employees and their spouses, who have dedicated a significant portion of their career to the organisation, the company said in a media release.

The award ceremony was attended by Ravi Kant Jaipuria, the Chairman of RJ Corp, the diversified multinational conglomerate, and the parent company of Varun Beverages Ltd and Tilak De Zoysa, Board Member of Varun Beverages Lanka Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr. Jaipuria and the Country Head, Amit Joshi, expressed their gratitude to their fellow employees of the organisation for their dedication and loyalty. They also reiterated the company’s commitment towards enabling a work culture, focusing on performance and continuing to produce world-class products for its customers.
