Bmich opens ‘’kolomba kamatha kala kendraya’’

The “Kolomba Kamatha Kala Kendraya”, has been conceptualized as a corporate social contribution (CSR) to the oriental artistes community in the country, initiative of the Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF) which is the management arm of the BMICH, was recently declared opened under the patronage of the former President and Chairperson of BNMF Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.

This facility will be opened for reservation to artistes who wished to train their pupils in oriental theatre, drama, dancing and singing at a nominal fee. The space will be allocated in two-hour time slots for practices. There will also be a facility available for artistes to gather socially for interactions and discussion among the community, which will be on a membership basis.
