Australasian Academy Reaches another milestone in Sri Lanka Sri Lanka’s best Culinary and Hospitality school

Australasian Academy (AA) first Australian owned higher education institution in Sri Lanka celebrated its fourth successful year of operation in the Island in November. Incepted as an Australian Hospitality education provider in Colombo in 2018 has grown in student numbers and programme offering to greater heights during the last four years.

Having launched as a specialised hospitality management training provider four years back AA changed the operational strategy with the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020 to diversify their programme offering to Culinary Management, Patisserie and allied health sciences thus having three faculties and a direct placement unit providing students to apply directly to Universities in Australia, UK, Canada, and USA.

AA offers transfer programmes to students who study Hospitality, Commercial Cookery, Patisserie and Aged Care programmes. Students can complete the first year in Sri Lanka and transfer to

any University in Australia to complete their bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Management. Aged care students have the option to complete a further two years of study in Australia for Ageing support and community development programme to complete and advanced diploma or proceed for a degree in nursing.

AA offer Australian qualifications in partnership with Australian National Institute of Business and Technology (ANIBT) Melbourne, Australia. ANIBT is one of the oldest and leading higher education providers in Australia with high reputation for their quality programmes and delivery quality.

AA students who complete the Foundation or diploma have the opportunity to transfer to IMI Switzerland to complete the Degree with guaranteed internships in Switzerland.
