“WAYA FOOD FIESTA 2022” by the Wayamba University

Wayamba University’s Waya Entrepreneur Club in collaboration with the Society of Food Science and Technology, organised its first mass event “WAYA FOOD FIESTA 2022”.

The society is a part of the university’s faculty of livestock, fisheries and nutrition, and the event will be held the university premises in Kuliyapitiya tomorrow (December 5) from 10.00 a.m. onwards.

The main objectives of the event is to provide an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations before entering the real trade and the world of marketing and to guide them to collaborate with developed companies.

This is based on promoting the zero-waste concept of food sustainability in the society, a university official said.
