Josephian Christmas Carols 2022: “Jesu Redemptor Omnium”

The Josephian Christmas Carols 2022, titled Jesu Redemptor Omnium will be held today (December 4) at the college auditorium from 6.30pm.

His Excellency Brian Udaigwe, the Papal Nuncio to Sri Lanka, will grace the occasion as chief guest.

The presentation will include carols, anthems, chants, and choruses by modern and classical composers in English, Latin, French, German, Italian, Nigerian and local languages.

The 75 strong senior choir of St. Joseph’s College, the 40-member primary school choir and the international award-winning Old Boys Choir will render selected compositions in elegant harmony before an expected congregation of 2000 people. This much awaited annual event of St. Joseph’s College in Colombo, gains an added significance, as the frontier Catholic College has just crossed its 125th anniversary milestone.
