Celebration time for Annesley M

Popular singer Annesley Malawana of Monnstones and Super Golden Chimes fame will be celebrating 75 years of life and 55 years in music scene with a Grand Musical Evening on 11th December 2022 at the BMICH starting at 7.00 pm.

‘Glorious Celebration- Annesley Malawana in Concert’ is presented by DK Promotions will also feature Annesley’s present band Super Chimes, Chitral Chitty Somapala as guest artiste and Vijaya Corea as the ‘Mater of ceremonies’.

The main attraction will be the reunion performance by Super Golden Chimes with original lineup, namely Dixon Guneratne, Rukshan Perera, Paul Pereira, Sunil Malawana, Chandral Fonseka ,Nimal Perera and Annesley Malawana.

‘I am really glad to perform with our original line-up and probably this will be our last performance. Super Golden Chimes needs no introduction as they were the topmost Band in the 70’s under the leadership of late Clarence Wijewardena’ said Annesley.

SGC will be singing their all chat toppers and popular songs released during seventies and eighties. Some of the Clarence’s solo hits too are billed to sing with the band Super Chimes. Chithral will be backed by Super Chimes and the finale is set to be one of the most fascinating jam sessions on stage.

Annesley will be releasing his latest Album on this day which contains six of his old hits and six brand new songs composed by Rajiv Sebastian.
