Royal home for tea, crush Dharmaraja

Royal College were home for tea as they crushed Dharmaraja College by an innings and 35 runs in the Under-19 Inter-School cricket encounter concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday. It was a knock of 121 in 130 balls inclusive of 15 boundaries and a six by Sineth Jayawardena that laid the foundation for Royal. The effort was well supported by a match bag of seven wickets by Bulan Weeratunga.

In the other matches Devapatihraja MMV Rathgama, S. Thomas’, Thurstan and St Sebastian’s recorded first inning wins.
