Isipathana prevail

Isipathana College registered a 16-run win against traditional rivals Thurstan College in the 16th Battle of the Brothers T20 encounter played at the Thurstan ground yesterday. Despite being bowled out for 120 runs off 19 over, Isipathana managed to skittle out Thurstan to 104 in the 19th over with Shan Viraj claiming four wickets, conceding just 16 runs. Kabileshwaran claimed three wickets and Sithuka Gunawardena took two for the winners. Thurstan's Shanikya Deshapriya top scored in the match with a fighting knock of 56, in a losing cause.
