Wick returns to war against underworld world over

Much awaited action thriller ‘John Wick: Chapter 4 (JW4), revolving around John Wick, who returns to yet another battle against his enemies from underworld, is now being screened in theatres in and around Colombo.

With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hit man John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.

Following the sequel to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and the fourth installment in the John Wick franchise, it stars Keanu Reeves as the title character, alongside a supporting ensemble cast including Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, late Lance Reddick (in one of his final roles), Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.

The film is now being screened at LSC - Liberty by Scope Cinemas. LSK Liberty By Scope Kiribathgoda, CCC Colombo City Centre, KCC - Kandy City Centre, Milano Diamond, Savoy 3D – Colombo, Cinemax 3D - Ja ela, Savoy Premiere – Rajagiriya, Savoy Metro – Gampaha, Majestic Ultra – Colombo, Regal Dematagoda and number of other theatres around the country.

The plot revolves around John W. in New York. Chapter 4 starts in New York City, John Wick prepares to exact his revenge against the High Table while hiding underground with the Bowery King. He travels to Morocco and kills the Elder, the only individual above the High Table.

Originally set for release on May 21, 2021, John Wick: Chapter 4 was first delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
