Ed Sheeran on top of the charts with ‘Shivers’

Ed Sheeran has replaced himself at the top of the UK singles chart as his new song ‘Shivers’ took over the No:1 position from his earlier release ‘Bad Habits’, ending its 11-week reign. The dance pop track which is taken from his new album ‘=’, was released a week ago. It took the then pole position with chart sales of 59,000. It is the second time Ed has replaced himself at the No:1 spot on the UK chart. Previously his song ‘Perfect’ was ousted by ‘River’ by Eminem that featured Sheeran back in 2018.

Meanwhile Sheeran has announced dates for his The Mathematics Tour. The 28-date tour will begin on 28th April 2022 in Cork, Ireland. The tour will cover the entire UK including three concerts at the London Wembley Stadium, and cover 10 European countries concluding on 23rd September in Frankfurt, Germany.
